Please join our presenters: Loui Silvestri and Gail McDonald (HDSB Principals) to learn what to expect and how to prepare/promote yourself in an interview.
They will discuss:
1. Topics that might come up.
2. Making an impression.
3. Current trends in education and in Halton.
4. How you should prepare/frame your responses and much more.
The presenters are two experienced principals in Halton who have interviewed for their various schools, as well as for the Halton Board.
This workshop will be done using Zoom and participants will be divided into breakout rooms. For this reason, it is imperative that you do NOT sign up if you are not absolutely sure you can attend. The breakout rooms depend on having the exact numbers present in each room in order to run effectively.
Please note that the confirmation email you receive will come from our President, Al Bero, because he owns the Zoom account, but please continue to email me about the meeting if anything comes up.
Zoom will state that the session starts at 4:30 pm but that is when Zoom will open for the presenters to set up. The actual session will begin at 5:00 pm and end at 6:30 pm
This event will open for registration on May 6th at 7:00 pm. Registration is limited to 30 people and this session will not be recorded.
