Interview Skills

Presenters: Loui Silvestri & Gail McDonald (HDSB Principals)

Do you have any questions about how to promote yourself in an interview? What topics might come up? What should I wear? What are the current trends in Halton that could come up? How should I prepare my responses?

The Occasional Teachers Union is offering a workshop that will address all of these topics for new teachers. The workshop presenters are two experienced principals in Halton that have interviewed for their various schools as well as for the Halton Board.

If you attended the LTO Interview Skills workshop in September there is no need to attend this event. The information in this workshop was covered then as well as the handouts. This workshop will benefit those who did not attend in September.

This event qualifies for the Dependent Care Subsidy. For details go to haltonot.ca under Professional Learning Opportunities and Subsidies. If you qualify download the form and submit it, with a receipt, to HEOT.

Registration opens at 4 pm on May 7th.  CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
